Falling in Love at the Blue Diner

So as you may have guessed, the second word assigned for our VE journal was “falling”. Again five pages on this particular word. As one entry, I chose to continue writing about the Blue Diner.
more Blue Diner
As I mentioned earlier, Iris Yax ran the counter at the Blue Diner for seventeen years, where she was a quiet observer of the diner’s many occurrences, some unusual and some ordinary, as it is anywhere day in and day out. On one particularly rainy evening, a rather quiet Tuesday for the lower East Side, Iris along with a few Blue Diner patrons, would encounter the arrival of a very unusual personality.
Two of the diner’s regulars out on this cold fall night were Irene and Eugene, a transvestite couple, who, though they were not married had the same surname of Olladeen. The Olladeens met at a Chinatown YMCA ceramics class five years ago and immediately fell in love.
